06 September of 2011, a trial was held in the year IV-MME classroom. It is where we would know whether Oedipus is guilty or NOT guilty.
The first Witness is the Shepherd, The Shepherd said that Oedipus was under the care of Polybus, the king of Corinth.
The second witness was the King of Conrinth, Polybus. Polybus revealed that Oedipus was not his real son. He said that he did not tell Oedipus that he is adopted because he was his heir. He also said that he did not want to tell Oedipus about the truth because he does not want Oedipus to leave Corinth.
The third Witness, Oedipus. Oedipus said that the oracle told him that the rumors about him being an adopted son is true. he was ask," why did you ran away from your home?" he answered," because I don't want to kill my father(polybus) and marry my mother."
Jocasta. She was ask if where was she when Laius died, and she answered that she is taking care of her children. she was also ask if she ever saw a resemblance between Jocasta and Oedipus, then she said that it was "Love at first sight" she said that she never thought that he was Oedipus because she thought Oedipus was Dead.
Laius. He said that he is the most powerful king, but he did not expect that someone would attack him. he said that he haven't thought about morality, and he is very selfish.
Tiresias. Knew the truth but didn't tell Oedipus, instead gave him a hint. he wants Oedipus to realize it by himself.
In the End, Oedipus is....Guilty!
